SWIMMING CLUB

The Worthing and District Scope Swimming Group for young children and their parents has moved to the hydrotherapy pool at The Angmering School. Although the facilities at the David Lloyd Leisure Centre were great, the water in the pool was just not warm enough for children with limited mobility, so parents asked if we could relocate the group to a hydrotherapy pool. Luckily for us – sessions at hydro pools are like gold dust! – Angmering School is able to make the pool available after school time on a Monday afternoon.

The move has been a good one as now more children than ever come along, and with more space in the warmer water, they are really benefiting from the exercise.

Swimming club takes place every Monday (not Bank Holidays) at Lavinia Norfolk Centre, Angmering School. 3:45 - 4:45p.m. £2.50 per family. Please contact the office to book your place.

WESTCOAST TORNADOS WHEELCHAIR BASKETBALL CLUB

The West Coast Tornados Meets every Friday at The Littlehampton Community School sports hall, Hill Road , Littlehampton, between 7.15pm and 9.15pm . Everyone is welcome; beginners and experienced players, young and old. We offer training, the opportunity to play for a league team and a place to socialise while having a good time taking part in an active sport!

£2 under 16's and £3 adults

Carl and his wheelchair basketball team have just been presented with the "Most Improved New Team" award. Our congratulations goes to them!

The Saturday club provides organised and well supported activities for children. It also arranges interesting talks and the opportunity for social networking for families.

The Saturday Club is run by Michelle Randall. She is a Mum who has been a great supporter of the charity for many years.
