NEWS / INFORMATION

The Community Liaison Worker assists families and individuals with cerebral palsy and like disabilities by providing support, information and advice. The service also acts as a signpost to other services and works to improve links with other agencies.

We can help or give advice about areas such as:  Housing, Benefits, Leisure activities, Carer’s assessment, Transition between services, Grants, Special Educational Needs statements, Employment and Education.

The Community Liaison Worker is available Monday, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 08.30 to 16.30.

Family & Carer Support Group (for people with disabled children under 18) – Come along to our Saturday Club on the last Saturday of every month 10:30 – 12:30 . The group provides activities and information for all the family in a safe supportive environment. Parents and carers share knowledge and experience with each other and our Community Liaison Worker is available to offer input and signpost to other services. The children (and adults if truth be told) always have something fun to do.
Siblings and extended family members welcome.
